Hi! We’re Matt and Liv, the faces behind Myers Media.
We love creating films.
We started this business together in October of 2019. Filmmaking started out as a hobby for us- something to challenge us and be creative with. It quickly has turned into so much more! We currently specialize in two separate areas. The first area, and we started with, is weddings/elopements. We love getting to know couples and giving them a fun and unique wedding video that totally captures their essence as a couple. The other area we specialize in is business/commercial social promos. This has been a fun new challenge for us. We enjoy working with clients and collaborating on visions and stories.
Without a doubt, the area we love the most in this industry is storytelling. As passion projects, we are beginning to dip our feet into the area of documentary filmmaking. Even before this business came along, both Matt and I found immense joy in educating ourselves about the world we live in and participating in activism work. We want to continue pursuing this passion of ours and make meaningful films to us, and hopefully to others!
Free time for us is rare, but we love to fill it with friends, traveling, disc golf, camping, hiking, loving on our sweet cats, watching docs, activism work, and just being outside/active in general.

I never thought I would find myself creating films. Growing up in a small rural town in Oklahoma there wasn’t always a lot to do. One way I would pass the time was by putting together movies of my friends and siblings on our farm. Creating small films featuring the people I cared most about was always a hobby of mine. One of the first trips Liv and I went on together, I brought some equipment and hoped to create a video just for us. From there, we had a bride reach out who really loved our style, hoping we could translate our style to her wedding… and the rest is history. I love that I get to travel with my best friend and create films that are raw, emotional, and meaningful. I hope to never stop growing - as a person or as a filmmaker.
Liv.
I started my professional career as a 5th grade teacher. Never in a million years did I think that I would be a filmmaker! However, this hobby turned passion of ours has truly been one of my biggest blessings. There are so many things about this industry that I love: curating new relationships, learning new skill sets and pushing myself to grow, the freedom to be creative, and telling important stories. I am so excited to continue to grow in this industry.
